[MV] Good Person

T-ara's (티아라) Good Person (좋은 사람) MV

About:
T-ara (Korean: 티아라; Korean pronunciation: [tʰiara]) is a South Korean girl group formed by Mnet Media in 2009. Before their debut, there was a high level of interest in the group as they were called "Super Rookies" and had been training for three years prior to debut. Originally a five member group, they released their first song Good Person for the Cinderella Man OST in April 2009. In June 2009 members Jiwon and Jiae left the group, ruining the original plans for debut. The next month, T-ara regrouped to become a 6 member group and released their debut single "Geojitmal" (Korean: "거짓말" lit. "Lies"). [wiki]

My View:

Although 'Good Person' is a ballad and no dancing would be viewed in the music view, I believe that it left the Video to be too plain. If I am not wrong, this is version 1. I have not found version 2, but I hope that it is better than this music video.

The singing was amazing. This ballad is one of my favorites, following close behind Jonghyun's 'Y Si Fuera Ella'. I am sadden at the news of Jiwon and Jiae leaving the group, because after the three new members joined and their style of music changed, I was no longer a fan.

Book Review: Gentle Rogue [A Malory Novel]

Title: Gentle Rogue [A Malory Novel]
Author: Johanna Lindsey
Publisher: Avon Books, An Imprint of HarperCollinsPublishers
Rating: NC-17 (Not suitable for children under 17)
Backcover:
Fall in love with the Malorys - an unforgettable family of dashing rogues, rakehell adventurers, and beautiful ladies of incomparable spirit - created by the #1 bestselling author Johanna Lindsey, a master of storyteller who spins romantic fiction like no other.

Gentle Rogue can be said to be the third book following Love Only Once and Tender Rebel. However it can stand on its own.

Summary:
Heartsick and desperate to leave her sorrows on England's shores, innocent Georgina Anderson seeks passage on the "gentleman's ship," Maiden Anne, disguised as a cabin boy. The captain, however, is no gentleman; he's the ex-pirate and irrepressible rake, James Malory.

The black sheep of a proud, tempestuous family, Malory, soon see through Georgina's masquerade and is enchanted by the courageous, high-spiritedlady he has forced into intimate servitude. But though he has sworn he will never be enticed into matrimony, Captain Malory has finally met his match on the high seas - undone by the passionate heart of one remarkable beauty whose love of freedom and adventure rivals his own.

My View:

I was hooked from the first paragraph! I laughed and instantly liked the way Lindsey potraited the character Georgina was.

"Georgina Anderson held her spoon up backward, placed one of the pared-down radishes from her plate in the bowl of the spoon, pulled the tip back, and shot the radish across the room. She didn't hit the fat cockroach she was aiming for, but she was close enough...."

By the simple fact that Georgina threw food at a 'fat' cockroach had me laughing out loud. How many books can you say start off this way. We can immediately tell that Georgina is not lady like at all. We later find out, it's because she was raised by five brothers and a close family friend who also happens to be male.

I truly enjoyed this book, maybe because I have a fetish for girls disguising as boys and trying to get into a all male school [in this case, a ship]. I was entertained by the fireworks and sparks flying off James and Georgina, not just the lustful ones but also their heated arguments. Both being hot headed and stubborn. My favorite part of the whole book is how close the five brothers are to Georgina, even though they all argue together all the time.

I highly recommend this book. I'm anxious to get my hands on the previous two stories and the one following this one.

My Girl was one of the first Korean Dramas I watched. I absolutely love this drama. I was drawn to the characters of YuRin and JungWoo. This drama introduced me to the beautiful Lee JunKi. I actually was sad that he didn't get to play the main role. My heart cried out in the scenes were he is hurt because of his one-sided love. However, Lee Dong Wook did an amazing job as the lead male role. This drama was full of laughs from beginning to end. I recommend watching this drama if you haven't yet. The OST song "Never Say Goodbye" by Mario and Nesty is an absolute favorite of mine. The strange thing though is the this song is the only song I have that is sung my Mario and Nesty. I have never heard of any other song or news about the two singers. If you have info on Mario and Nesty please drop a comment here. I would love to continue listening to these two!
